Geoff,
I'm sure I read somewhere that Eric Valentine & Dan Arlie had access to unreleased T-Ride material but due to their personal dispute it would never see the light of day?
What can you tell us about this music? (Style, how many songs etc..)
Thanks
Kind regards
Shaun

T2

Yes, there is a full unreleased T-Ride CD #2. I don't have a copy. I've been speaking with Dan about it because he owns the rights to it, but he does not have the master tapes.

It was very different. Very dark with a lot of unusual instruments. There were some songs with dulcimer, baritone guitar, 12 string and even a song with a guitar solo!

They may someday see the light of day, but the bottleneck is Valentine. He has the master tapes and i doubt he'd give them up without a bevy of lawyers on his ass.

But the good news is that Dan is writing again and he and i are talking about doing another CD. I will keep you guys posted!

GT

Thanks again for your open & honest reply Geoff
Let's hope one day Mr Valentine will compromise and release this music for the fans (After all, what else is he going to do with it???!!!)
Great to hear that you and Dan may work together again, here's to T3 !!!!!
Kind regards

I hope we get to hear the unreleased music one day! I've been talking to Dan alot and he seems very ready to go. I told him it's about time! I'm with the rest of the fans, is it not strange we'll finally be hearing a new T-Ride CD?!! the planets are starting to align, yes indeed!!

Arrggg!!

There is another T-Ride album hidden away somewhere.
That is criminal!!

I'm excited to hear that you and Dan could be writing again.

I am in desperate need of hearing something fresh again. The first album was and is such a breath of fresh air.

Maybe some guitar solo's this time then ehh!!

Although I did like the way the little blasts of guitar used to come through and leave you wanting more.

Cheers

Neil

I hear their was a song titled "Serial Killer" on this 2nd album, true? any more titles or music to share. If no official release is gonna happen, us diehards deserve a good bootleg, hell I'll even pay for it!

one more thing, in an interview a few years back you mentioned the 2nd album was slower, darker and would fit in around those dark styles in music at that time. So I'm guessing (if released) it would have came out 94-95, would bands such as Tool be a reference point to sorta base this album? damn I think I'd give a limb to hear it or even more of Dan's tunes!

it was a really strange mix of Tom Waits, Pink Floyd, Tool and things that were one-of-a-kind T-Ride. I am sorry to say that i have only 4 songs and i don't have the really cool ones. Watch this space for something special soon!
